An intense, uptight married couple, considering divorce, convinces three other couples to accompany them on a retreat to an idyllic island, promising sun, sea, sand, and relaxation, where instead they are confronted with intense couples counselling and oppressive rules and regulations, forcing them to reluctantly examine their own relationships, in this well enough acted though seldom funny and hopelessly predictable comedy.
