After being regaled with tales of a blood thirsty phantom hound, Sherlock Holmes agrees (in a roundabout sort of way) to investigate the death (officially ruled a heart attack) of Lord Baskerville, a case that soon has him rubbing shoulders with spiritualists, American heirs, and escaped convicts, in this handsome, well-crafted BBC film.
