Tarlov’s aimless, whimsical romance idles vaguely erotically and generally pleasantly towards nowhere in particular, as it follows the birth of a magical gastronomic romance between a struggling young chef (Gellar, effortlessly bewitching) and a department store executive who is busily preparing for the opening of his firm’s swanky new restaurant – pleasurable, but easily forgotten and awfully light.
