Two brothers, with the help of the girl next door, who have just moved to a new town, discover a seemingly bottomless hole in their new home’s basement, and soon find themselves battling against their greatest fears, in Dante’s inventively creepy if slightly uneven horror flick, which lacks the humour of his best work.
