When a pair of undercover FBI agents are killed following a security breach, Miami PD officers Crockett and Tubbs are enlisted to infiltrate a Caribbean gang of drug runners – an operation that soon puts their loved ones at risk, in Mann’s mildly entertaining though loud, flashy, and decidedly po-faced updating of the popular 1980s television series of the same name.
